By now you guys have heard of the Super Snake the only legit GT500/Mustang with a 427 and supposedly a 427 w/alum heads, intake and water pump  = LeMans motor. Anyway the power was claimed to be 500-600+ and supposedly Carrol personally clocked it at over 170mph. It has the proverbial "bundle of snakes" headers and that brings up this observation:

I don't know how, but making 500-600HP with a transverse muffler THAT IS IMPRESSIVE!

Im sure thats is 500-600 gross SAE hp
thats without muffler alternator fan etc.etc.
