385 series Galaxie build

Nice car but the owner seemed to go 385 purely based on price. Surely, at this level of tune, a 520c.i. Lima CAN'T be cheap. What are we talking dollar wise between the two platforms?

I seen that video elsewhere and agree with you. The kind of money it takes to build a 700+ hp 385 series engine would get you a pretty stout FE. It would also be more respectable in that car.
But we are probably a little bias...

Beautiful car. Weight of 3780 lbs doesn't sound right to me.

520 Lima is just a over bore on a stock block and a cheap ( as in price compared to FE )Scat rotating assembly along with some decent cylinder heads so it is cheap in comparison to FE but it would be way more impressive to me anyway if it had a FE , I like Lima's just not in that car
