Maybe I spoke too soon.
FedEx freight showed up today with a C6 I ordered from Summit (long sad story about being in a hurry and then getting shafted by the trans shop) because they sell them outright with no core.
Shows up in a cardboard box with no packing material at all and the entire thing was sitting on a pallet with no banding/straps of any kind!
