Nothing fancy.   Ladder bar and coil overs.

I had run leaf springs and floaters for decades, but once the 462 was put in the 9" tires were not putting up with the added power.  I then removed the springs and installed coil overs to gain a few inches on the inside to run 10.5" tires.   With some squeaking, I could get a 10.5W tire, but it would be real tight up in the front dog leg area.  The std 10.5 does quite well, but with the ever increasing power it will be getting tougher to get it hooked up especially on a margin track.

I'm still tinkering with chassis set up, shocks, and clutch tune up.

There isn't all that much to remove from the front half of the car, besides gutting the doors.  Yes, the tailgate weighs in at 100#, but that is where I need the weight.  The rear doors are 75# right now.  Buddy tells me to remove that rear wrap around glass.  Not going to attempt that right now.  The car is right at 3820 lbs without me(4000 with me).  The car started at 4600# without me so I have made headway over the years.

Well I brought it home Friday afternoon, got it in the car this morning and running by noon!

Just some cleaning up to do and get it loaded and ready for next friday for possible TNT.

Sounds sweet.  New RobMc starter sounds good too!

Larry,
I'm just catching up on this with the Gonkulator:

You said 104 center on the cam, was that the intake ICL?
What was the Lobe Sep LSA?

What headers were used on the dyno? Open or thru some mystery dyno mufflers?

Was the engine driving the water pump on the dyno?

In any case, just plugging your dyno results vs the old ones into the Gonkulator, gains at the strip are maybe 0.2 ET and 2.5 MPH or so.

For the love of God, you don't need 14/32 tires!

Awesome car!

Awesome car. I don’t love much but stationwagons are one thing!
