Valve covers

My 428 build is coming along with the usual hiccups.... tried my powered by ford chrome valve covers and Murphy shows up and says to short to clear valve train... what valve covers will clear rocker stands with studs? Is my only option pent roof valve covers. And will they clear power brake booster?

Assuming 69 Mustang? Power brake booster may be an issue if you get many aftermarket VC's
PB statement may help your search.
Lots of options but I like the CJ finned covers but they  might not fit your setup with the stands and rockers.

i've got the tall "Cobra LeMans" black finned aluminum valve covers.  They clear the Harland Sharp rockers and the power brake booster/master cylinder.  I don't have the end stands, however, so I don't know if they would interfere with my valve covers.  I tried my factory finned aluminum 428 valve covers and they did not clear the rockers.

I run Lemans black crinkle, but you could always double up gaskets, gluing them together with 3M yellow

In some cases, with repop chrome PBF, I have pinched the baffles from the bottom too, grab them with Channel locks and make them narrower, which makes a little room, however, it was with Lykins rockers, and adjustable roller may need more room

I've got a set of valve cover spacers that are yours for the shipping. Had to shorten the baffle inside my old covers (cast aluminium) because with the spacers they wouldn't fit under the brake booster.

How thick are the spacers? I am using Brent’s roller rockers with studs . I really like my chrome pbf valve covers for the stock look. Where are you located yellow truck?

There are also companies that make extra thick gaskets that help this problem out. Might be able to help get off the rockers without hitting your booster.

The PBF covers have a lot of room inside.  I've seen those used with a lot of different rocker arm setups.

Where are they hitting?  As was stated earlier, you can modify the baffle to clear if that is the only issue.  Going to spacers causes other fit issues in most tight engine compartments.

I am on Vancouver Island (near Sidney) in BC. Spacers are 3/8 inch.

The rocker studs and baffle were hitting. I ended up getting 1/2 spacers for the valve covers. The taller rocker base of the trick flow heads was the issue.
