well, you don't have to run a Ford Engine in NHRA Pro Stock Ford Cars,  since they have regulated that only GM Products can win, so Pro Stock has gotten so boring, it is not run at all NHRA events anymore
it is hard to balance your check book with your testoserone level
Previous FE Cars:   1965 Ford Galaxie 390/4spd then upgraded to 427 sideoiler
1970 Maverick 427 sideoiler.  X Pro Stock Car
Current build in progress 1964 Thunderbolt Clone

Yeah, I posted awhile ago the shocking engine swap news. But, I didn't know they stopped running the class at all events. Any links to when/where NHRA decided to f-up their own game once again?

Man, what a bunch of knuckleheads!

Edit: found it!  https://motorsports.nbcsports.com/2018/11/17/column-is-nhra-pro-stock-in-big-trouble-last-2-champs-gone-2019-schedule-cut-costs-keep-going-up/

And I thought he was going to announce that one of his many project cars was now running. Guess I'll have to wait awhile longer for that surprise.

Yes, I am still struggling with that. Getting closer I think.

I've seen the Heretic 56 Chev several times, he's sort of local. There were two Ford powered Chevrolets at Hot August Nights (a 460 in a mid 50's Chev pickup and a 351C in a 32 Chev) and two more at Drag Week, (Boss 429 Nova and 55 gasser with a 460 style)

Its a big deal around here some real good cars are being cut up a dumb ass took the 302 out of a numbers matching z28 sold it so he could have a ls.On the bright side the ls is a copy of a ford if it did not have the ugly coils it would be hard to tell it from a ford.
