Richard you would need a splined output shaft and the correct output shaft housing to make the swap .It isn't hard to find a p.u. c-6 with the splined output shaft my 73 f250 has one .Sometimes you might find a five clutch forward drum in truck c-6 but it seems the direct drum has three or four .Not the more desirable five clutch .Ford was stingy with those five clutch direct drums .Doug

LOL, same with the C4 - all my 5 clutch drums are made from steels and clutches, not natural out of the trans.
