I got to meet some of the Ford racers there, Daryl Nelson , D W Hopkins, Dennis White and Rick Kent it was fun to get to know them a little, Rick went 150 MPH then found out he had no brakes in his Pinto, he went into the corn field a long way before he stopped, I would bet it was noisy for a while, He took the front clip off and fixed the brakes and back racing He went, what a fun time We had.
