I'll be driving an FE from Southern Ontario and will be passing through your area. Let me know if anyone wants to get together. Val.

I live in Westfield, 30 miles from Erie Pa, 15 miles from the real western NY. I assume you will be coming across at Buffalo? Dew to other obligations I won`t be going.

I will be in Watkins Glen visiting my daughter. I may try and work my way up that way while I'm there.

I'll be there for the duration.  We usually park near entrance # 2, across from the Toyota building.  Watkins Glen isn't far, and the car show itself is pretty good.  If you go, stop by.  I'll have my 64 Comet there.

Should I wear my" Make America Great Hat" as well? <snicker>  Yes, Watkins is about 80 miles from Syracuse.  My spouse wants to retire and move back to her home town there and I would have to deadhead from ITH to PHL.  I just don't know if I can do it.

I live 25 min north of Syracuse. I'm working on getting my engine back together for my Galaxie right now. I'm hoping to be there with it!

Who does machine work in that area and actually knows Fords? It seems like all the machine shops have closed. There were a couple left in Elmira that I think have gone defunct too.

I know many patriots are there. It's fun watching the Ithicaites lose their mind.   ;D ;D ;D
I can't stir the pot until I'm out of uniform. Then it's on!  8)

Town Brothers Racing (TBR Machine) in Syracuse does all my machine work. Die hard ford guys. The owner Mark runs a SBF with a stick N/A to 8.0 in the quarter. The son has a turbo SBF stick car that moves right along. They have done a bunch of FE stuff and have cross bolted a block for me. They're great guys to work with.

That's great to know If we decide to move back. It's about an hour and a half out. I am looking at a few places in Big Flats and Corning this coming week.

Another upvote for Mark Towns.  I've known him for several years, he always takes good care of me and my brother.  I'd recommend him without hesitation.

Good to know I don't have to drive to NYC or Jersey to find someone.  I was just looking at the weather. Looks rather nice up that way.

Weather's pretty decent right now.  Mid 80's, sunny, just a bit on the humid side.  Winter......well, not so much.

I am well aware. I used to make the run from KDFW-KJFK.  Ice and snow is not a pilot's friend by any means. Winds can be tough too at KJFK.
I was looking at flight weather services.  Looks like you will fare well that weekend up that way.
