I have a few sets of the EDC, C1AE and C7TE long skinny rods I am scraping out. Any difference in the forging that would make one casting stronger than the other? The C1s are beefier.

Are the forgings any stronger than the next?

My opinion is that they should be stacked from oldest to newest.   Then put the lid on the can and call the recycling guy.  A skinny rod in any sort of performance build is just to risky for my tastes.   The thick ones will break sometimes with no warning.   Skinny ones are - well - skinny

If ya have ebay, list them

I had a bunch of FE stuff on the watch list

2 sets of CT7 skinny rods went for over $100.00

Several 352/360 cranks went for over $100.00

1 390 crank went for $170.00

Not every build is a 7,500 rpm stroker so these rods are fine. I am going to hang on to all of them for now. Found a possible hone clean up 4" bore block in the shop. Possibly shave down the 332 pistons for a nice zero deck 352. The more junk I clean out the more good parts I find.
