There's a few around here but they're in such bad shape I have no desire to even ask if they'd sell.

Always thought it would be cool to have an old ramp truck but haven't ever found the right deal to bring one home. There's a guy not far from me that drag races Pontiac wagons that has a early 90's Chevy ramp truck that's in decent shape. He bought a motorhome a few years ago and the truck sits most of the time. Would prefer a 67-79 Ford, but....

Cool piece.

Buddy had a really nice dentside ramp truck.  He built a really nice 460 for it.  It was geared really steep and would barely get 4-5 mpg on a good day.  It had enough springs in the back, it wouldn't move no matter what he put on the back.  I suppose if you updated things, maybe with air ride and faster gearing it might get mileage that is bearable?  I know they were popular, but gas was under a buck a gallon back then!!!
