C6 trans (body) shield question
« on: May 02, 2019, 01:25:32 PM »
For you guys running 10.99 and faster with a C6 in your 66-67 Fairlane or Comet. Can you recommend a transmission shield that fits without too much floor hammering. I don't like the idea of a blanket as I feel it would hold in a lot of heat. I have an SFI flex plate so I should be good there. I'm not sure if I will run that fast, but I would like to do some research just in case.  It also couldn't hurt to have one either way. Thanks, Jim

I used the CSR carbon fiber piece.Covers the flexplate too (Two SFI certifications). It will only work on a non ribbed case. Not sure if they make one for an FE case though.
