Need help locating rings....
« on: March 21, 2019, 06:35:07 PM »
I have a set of JE super stock legal 390 pistons. I bought them used and I am trying to get a set of rings for them.

-The top ring is a Dykes style ring that measures. .062" (1/16").

-The second is a low tension conventional style ring that measures. .077"... So 5/64" or 2mm?

-Oil ring is a standard 3/16"

-Bore is 4.090"

I would like to stay with the Dykes style low tension ring combo.

Any help is appreciated!

Fred

Call Keith at Total Seal.  You will need to give him all dimensions including the depths so he can fix you up.  You may be able to run a spacer and some thinner rings as well.
