Yes, that is why I need to know what the big end rod width is.  If it is already too narrow, then they will not work.  Also, if too wide they wont work for my possible project.  I can't afford that kind of money just to have them not work for me.  Joe-JDC

It says the big end width is 0.940" in the ad.   Is that not what you are looking for?

Nope, that's sbc size.  I am trying to find out the actual width of a Ford rod, not aftermarket.  Thanks, Joe-JDC

Big end width is .940".  Little end width is .965".

The big end is basically SBC size.  I'm doing a 4.6L 4V right now and I'm using an offset ground factory crankshaft, ground down to small journal SBC rod journals so I can use a Molnar 6" SBC rod.

Also, I wouldn't worry about the big end being too narrow.   If you're having custom pistons made, you can set it up like a piston-guided rod.

Thanks.  I am trying to find a 6.500", 6.400", 6.300" rod with the 2.000" rod journal, also. The price I was quoted for one of those lengths was $2200.00 for 8.  I can find 6.250", so that may be what I have to settle for.    I can't use the Honda or Mitsubishi rod journal on this particular build.  I was considering that V-10 rod because it is the length that would fit another build.  Being retired, I am finally starting several projects that have been on the back burner for a while.  It is fun, but expensive.  LOL   Joe-JDC
