« on: November 11, 2018, 07:28:21 AM »
A 68 Shelby With a SOHC That was in next town from me early 80s
Had a Cobra that had catched a Rat painted on the side.
Was owned by Ture Ström a older guy , ehmm in his 50s . That was incredibly old then ::)
He also had a  Turbocharged early 60s T-Bird, innovative in the early 80s :o

And why it not have a scoop on the roofpillar is beacuse they started with a empty body and could not find the scoops for a shelby

My friend I mentioned in my old pulling truck post last week who had a bunch of 427 SOHC engines and parts for his 4x4 pulling truck sold them all in the early 80's, a lot went to Sweden at the time. I remember him showing me a couple Scandinavian car magazines the new owners had sent him later with their cars featured. Too much time has passed for me to remember who they were though, but at least at one time lots of cool SOHC stuff there.

There was quite a few SOHCs here if you think there was
only 8,000,000 people in the whole country. Thats half of
Los Angeles population i guess. I know of two 68 Shelbys
and a 68 California Special with SOHCs that was Dragraced
in the 70-80s . I heard rumors about a Thunderbolt with a SOHC
That was sold back to USA
