TKO 600 Driveshaft Yoke
« on: May 11, 2018, 01:11:59 PM »
Looking for a yoke for a TKO 600. Would like to be able to use a 1350 U joint.
Tremec makes one but for a 1330 U joint.
What is everyone using in your TKO 500/600?
Strange says they do not make one for a TKO 600.
Thanks in advance

A C6 yoke was available for a 1350 U joint, pretty sure I've seen them on mid to late 80's F250 and 350 diesels

Finally found what I was looking for.
Brent sent me a message and told me what I needed.
Sonnax Industries Billet Yoke T3-3-2491HP.
This fits TKO 600

That Sonnax one is the same one I have for my 31 spline Toploader. Haven't used it yet, but a very nice piece for the money. I also used their 28 spline on my old small out Toploader. Worked very well.

I have a spare one here, but not sure on the joint size, I will measure today. Likely the smaller joint, I think it was off a 3/4 ton with a C-6 and I used it with my old big in/out 4 speed.  I believe I used a Mark Williams yoke on my TKO when I put the alum driveshaft, but it's been a long time.

Hard to believe Strange Engineering doesn't make a yoke for the TKO 600.

Funny, but I wonder if the fellow on the phone was a newbie.

Strange doesn't list one on their site that's why I called them.
