Drilling a factory side Oiler for lifter/pushrod oiling

Hey guys, I’m in search of someone capable of drilling a factory sideoiler block for lifter oiling
In the Grand Rapids  Michigan area. I want to run a T@D setup on my next build.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Actually drills blocks. I know he can be tough to get a hold of, so I posted here. Ray Paquet
gave me a name a few years ago but I’ve forgotten who it was and where. Thus the fishing
expedition...

The Roush operation in Livonia Michigan has a boring mill that should be capable of doing that for you. They have an extensive establishment there and many phone numbers, but (734) 779-7006 should get you started.

 I'm actually a great fan of Barry's operation, but doing the proper job of such a task takes a  GREAT BIG machine. Roush's is of such a size you have to climb up on it to be able to  reach the working area.

I drill them regularly, but probably 10 hrs from you.   Not many people do it, or know exactly how to attack it.  Ray may have mentioned Dave Wood in Holt Mi.  I'm sure Dave can do it if you can get him.

drilling? drilling what? forgive me but i put T&D's on my engine and oil up the P-rods and i didn't drill anything. i blocked the passage going to the deck, but that's it.
the sideoiler is already a hydraulic block i would think no drilling is necessary....No? Blair?

Also, this is indeed a solid lifter sideoiler. I have three of them. 1-C5 and two C7’s.
All solid lifter. Only the C8’s were drilled for hydraulic.

Can you reverse oil with the T&D setup? We used a solid sideoiler for the 700 hp Car Craft engine and reverse oiled the lifters down the pushrods. That engine used the new Comp rocker arms. The rocker arms needed to be drilled and then we used T&D adjusters. It was easier to drill 16 rocker arms than to find someone who could drill the block........

Thanks for the thought, but you can’t reverse oil with the race t@d set up. It uses a sub plate that attaches with the head bolts and covers up the original oil supply. Also the rockers shafts are in small pairs as opposed to one long hollow shaft. So the only way to oil the rockers is up through the pushrods
