It's a relatively easy and proven fix to restrict the oil passage.

Any Chebby guy will swear FE's won't turn enough rpm's to cause a problem

We make ours for Edelbrock heads from little bits of aluminum.
I think the BBM heads are smaller in diameter.
Holley jets work for factory heads.
