As that title says, what do I need to know
This setup (propane) has no option for port vacuum (most others do) so I am forced to make it work with intake vacuum I'll just have to set it low and set "base" as real base + vac advance then limit total as needed.
As a test I installed a vacuum check valve, the problem is when in a low vac or boost situation it doesn't react fast enough, it just sits there until vacuum slowly bleeds off. So that obviously that won't work.
Retard under boost is controlled via ignition box with map sensor. Now this would greatly simplified with the new programmable msd box where adv/retard maps can be tailored based from map readings. Unfortunately I do not have that function on my Mallory, retard only.
