Hard to diagnose without a little investigation.
Pull the plugs and see if you can distinguish any difference between cylinders.
If you have access to a bore scope, pull the carb and run the scope down the runners to see if you see oil in the ports of the head, running down the valve stems, etc. 90% of FE oil issues like that is a botched intake gasket install, but there's a small chance it could be a valve seal or guide issue. If it's actually smoking and has a modern ignition system, it's sucking a ton of oil in.
Oil entering the combustion chamber can only come from a few spots. It could come from the ring side, but I find that unlikely, especially since you have just changed the top end. Chances are it's coming from the intake side of things. You just need to narrow it down to a bad gasket install, or bad guides/seals. The head gasket tabs can hold the intake off the head. That's another thing to check.
I don't restrict with factory rockers. I can show you a video of a dyno pull where the oil doesn't even get above the bottoms of the springs.
