Thanks, that's my latest "barn find."  It's been parked in the desert since 1982.  Very solid nearly rust free with all of the original parts.  The pinstriping is certainly unique.  Ford made about 3500 ram air Cobra sport coupes with the 4 speed.  This one also has power steering, front disc brakes, in dash tach and bucket seats - a well optioned car.  The '68 side oiler service block is a period correct mod that I think fits this car well.  What few parts I've needed for the car I found in my favorite boneyard - White's Service in Germanton, NC.  They have at least 60 old Fairlanes, Galaxies, Torinos, Mustang's etc. with all of those little things we all need...

SOUNDS LIKE A COOL BONEYARD ... FOR SURE ... They are getting hard to find out west , have to resort to whats parked in peoples yards out here ..Bud

Me too...there just isn't the population here in Utah to support large numbers of wrecked/junked classics.  The east coast has the best picking IMO but rust never sleeps.  Here is another photo.  Picking at the junkyard is my favorite passtime, though my wife doesn't agree! :)

Yeah not enough here in New Mexico either , my wife is ok with junk yards , loves car shows , and mustangs and she wants a 66 red mustang coupe lol ..Bud
