Identical parts.  Balancer is OK for a mild street cruiser.  But I would step up to at least a Powerbond or Romac for anything nice, and an ATI if you are serious racing.

Thanks Barry, was looking for something decent for a mild street build that will see some bracket racing. Was confused on the price difference, same part number and all, . thanks again.

I have the ATI, it requires a little machine work on the spacer but is a very nice part. The Professional products stuff are Taiwain knock offs, they literally steal the design of current products and make them overseas. They make exact knock offs or Edelbrock intakes and all kinds of stuff, the quality is not the same though.

I run ATI or innovators west on my race stuff.
Just was looking and seen the price diff in the two with same part #. Crazy.  It's for a low buck budget build for my nephew, lots of budget parts cause thats what he can afford working part time and going to school. I'll do the best can for him with what he has, I'm just stoked that he wanted to go FE in his short bed ford instead of the W engine. Think it's great getting young new blood into the FE.

I wasn't aware of any machine work needing done on the spacer to use the ATI? Other than doing a slight egging of the mounting holes on the pulley and regrinding the timing pointer to match TDC, mine bolted right on with no issues.

A Powerbond SS series balancer would be a nice compromise.

I have that same professional products on my 427 with 428 crankshaft in my 66 comet .It has been on there 8- 10 years now the paint is coming off and with the paint come the numbers and marks for setting your timing .I was able to mark it where I needed to for my engine but most of the numbers are gone .Every body would probably say put a timing tape on it but you would need to sand off all the paint to do so .For now I can deal with it but if I ever pull it I need to do something .I bought a new pioneer for my 428 it is a nicer part .They have a street and race version .The marks are stamped on the one I have
