Jay, do you do a post-mortem on the motors you run at Drag Week?  If so, what questions in your mind are you wanting to investigate on the motor?

Great...but I'd rather ask Jay if he's going to run the car again locally this season to wring out some still lower e.t's.....before the snow flies!  :)

I may or may not run the car again this year; there are a few things that I want to change, based on the Drag Week results (for example, running some of the wires under the intake runners).

I don't think the motor is used up by any means, so there is no need for a post mortem.  However, my habits are such that I rarely leave well enough alone, so I'm guessing that I'll take it apart at some point this winter.  I'll for sure look at the main and rod bearings if I do, and also look at the bores, but probably leave the pistons installed.  I'm thinking of some head modifications, and maybe another Steaming Pile...

Congrats on the win Jay!

I haven't been following hotrod stuff for a while now but I heard something about Dragweek and semi-followed along.  I was rooting for you and was glad to see pull out the win after all that hard work!

Thanks for that link, I hadn't seen that one.  The 1320 video clips are the best!
