NMRA at Norwalk
« on: May 10, 2015, 09:54:37 AM »
I was wondering if anyone out there has this event on their calender  June 11-14

Our Y block/55-57 Ford group have about 15 cars committed.. Any FE guys are welcome to pit with us if you don't want to get lost in all the late model stuff. We are running our own Y block shoot out and if we have enough 57 Fords we do a shootout with them too. FE, 460 whatever is under the hood.

It would be great to have a good vintage Ford turnout.

I just may have to go to this since it's only 1 1/2hrs from me. I haven't gone to any of the Ford events at Norwalk since they quit having the Fun Ford Weekend and the trend went to newer cars. I don't have anything to haul the Mustang there, but if the weather looks like it will be nice, I might drive it up. It would be worth the trip just to see your rail, Royce.

It would be great if you can make it. They have a bracket just for Vintage Fords. Sure would be nice to see some Ford muscle. I Plan on having the Warbird there. I have been tiptoeing into the 9s so I need to back it down with no NHRA license

Yeah, I know what that's like :(

I'm about to order my enclosed trailer, but that'll take 2-3 months to get done. I might use my old flatbed if I can get a truck going to pull it with.
