Yup, very nice car! 8)

The car has been down the track at Bowling Green 3 times, two of those times it was having serious carb problems which turned out mostly to be a faulty fuel pressure ga plus we were having other issues with the carbs also. On the last run we got a 10.04 at 132+ mph but it was laying down in every gear. When I got back to the pits it took 2 gallon of water to fill it back up. Couldn't figure out where it was going until my son looked under the car and water was running out of the exhaust on the drivers side. As far as et I believe it should run 9.60s to 9.70s at about 138 to 139 mph. Have to get it fixed and try again.

Thanks for the replies.  Hope you get everything sorted out for next year.  Blair is a good guy to work with, so I know it will work for you.   Those hi-riser engines seem to have been overachievers in the right hands.  I sure wish there was a source of new heads with a raised floor to use with the existing manifolds.  Joe-JDC
