Jack Miller's Cougar at Drag Week

Jack sent me this great photo of his 800+ HP Cougar leaving the starting line at Bowling Green this year.  Unfortunately the car had to withdraw after the first day, due to a hole in one of the intake ports spitting water into the engine.  Jack thinks its an easy fix and he'll be back at Drag Week next year.  Really, really cool car...

Jack is an FE guy; the car has a 427 stroker in it.

Would be curious to find out about that 800 hp number.  Those are hard to come by with a FE.  Any information on the particualrs?  Joe-JDC

I don't know a lot about the engine, but the heads and intake are Dove high riser parts.  The intake is a tunnel wedge for a high riser, kind of like the one you ported for me, Joe.  I don't know about the cam and compression, but Jack said it made 820 HP on the dyno.  Maybe Jack will chime in here...
