i've just paid for the most expensive pair of rocker covers i've ever bought! but.... they're M/T finned ally ones for a ford fe big block so the odds were against me of finding a bargain. i could've got 2 pairs of new cheapy chrome ones for the same money but i din't want chrome ones, i gave our ashley the chrome edelbrock ones i had so.... basically like most of us i want what i want and often have to take a deep breath and just pay up.
also i decided to upgrade the brakes on my speedway straight tube front axle. so i ordered a pair of new subaru imprezza wrx sti 4 pot brake calipers, which along with larger discs will make a big improvement.
