Moroso Oil Pump

Just wondering who sells just the screen . I have an old Moroso pick up that the screen is ripped on. Want to replace the screen material. One thing that puzzles me is how it ripped to begin with. The motor broke a rod many moons ago but how did the screen rip?? Thanks

I have a moroso pickup with the exact same problem. How did that screen get a hole in it anyway? In that motor at the time (years ago) I was running 20-50 oil. Now I run 10w30 synthetic. Those screens are pretty tough metal.
