Dewalt 3/8" impact 20V

I'm looking to buy a 3/8" Brushless impact but there seem to be so many "options" What is a good 3/8" compact for working on cars?

I've been quite satisfied with both my12V Dewalt now my 20V Dewalt brushless.  Compact size, good power, and shares battery packs with all my other battery tools.

I have several Milwaukee cordless tools, including their 3/8 impact.
Lots of guys at my work also have the Milwaukee cordless power tools.
Seems to be the go to around our shop.

I own several Milwaukee battery powered tools, among them a M18 Fuel 3/8" compact impact wrench (cat.no.2754-20), purchased in '17. The torque produced by this thing is amazing; it has 4 power levels and I keep it on 2, to prevent twisting off ⅜" fasteners while tightening.

I forgot to add. I have a bunch of other Dewalt 20v tools and batteries so I’d like to keep with Dewalt.

If keeping with the Dewalt 20v line, I would recommend the DCF923B 3/8 impact. Very impressive for the size. I have one at work and once I bought it, I haven't used my Snap-On CT861 again. You may want to shop around. I found a seller on Ebay selling the DCF923B bare tool for $120 and another selling a 2 pack of the powerstack batteries for $85 brand new. Heck of a deal. Just be mindful and use the power settings if needed, because it has plenty of torque to break stuff. It will take lugnuts off easily if not severely overtorqued or extremely rusted.

I see that Dewalt is the preferred tool of the Amish around here, but I swear by Milwaulkee having had both.
