Darn .. sold a set of those for $125.00, still had the fins though, they were in great shape

The more I look at Tunnelwedge's the more I like them you could even get something like anodized blue black or gold could look nice but the raw looks great too.

Posi67 have you thought about just running lines and a puke tank? I will say those old MT covers are made out of junk metal I had to weld a small crack inside of mine and it was not fun.

These Pent Roofs are a somewhat affordable option. Lots of valve train clearance but you sacrifice clearance getting to the spark plugs.

Take a look at the welds around the mounting insets.  Gonna be a treat getting a fastener to snug down square against that...

I really like my new set of Blue Thunders, not cheap but they look great and I like the threaded holes for the billet accessories they sell. They're making me a matching air cleaner as well.

The ones that came black crinkle are made with pot metal and the polished ones were pure aluminum and weldable.

I ruined a few cut up ones making mine before I realized that.

I did not know that Tom not sure if mine are pot metal ones but they polished up good and hold the polish could of just been the years of oil and gunk inside the crack
