Ad states there is a lien on the car that would need to be paid off before title can be transferred. Doesn't say how much the lien is.....

No sale at $53K.  Zero option car (except mandatory options) originally.  Too bad it isn't still black jade with nugget gold interior IMO.

Interesting that it was bid up to $53K though, I would have figured $40K.  I guess everything is pricier these days, or I'm just cheap  ;D

I've seen cars in similar condition go for 70-80k at Barrett Jackson. I'm sure that's the kind of money he was expecting.

When using Bring A Trailer I don't think people understand that they need to advertise their listing a bit. Post it around the internet on different facebook pages and such. Makes a big difference in bid outcome.

Not being the original color, especially jade black, had to hurt the bidding. Heck, it even has the numbers matching block.

Dad had a Talladega the same color. Many fond memories of riding down to the A&W for root beer floats.
