Rear main leak update - fixed!

I just wanted to thank those that were patient with my postings in the recent months about my rear main leak and the best approach to repair. I had a chance last week to finally drive the car a whole 7 miles. No leak but I didn't have time to play anymore. Yesterday I drove the Fairlane to Carlisle Ford Nationals, to York, PA for Cruising night and home. This was about 190 total miles and I'm happy to say. No rear main seal oil leak. What a relief. The prior leak after my 2020 build was the size of a paper plate each time. Here is a clean bellhousing picture and a picture of the rear bearing cap, filled with oil. This is a tip from Jay Brown. After doing the seal and the glue has cured. I filled the cavity shown with oil and let it sit overnight. Now the oil will slowly drain to the engine side through the bearing clearances. However it will show a leak, if any on the outside of the block. After this test and no oil on the outside, I was confident to reassemble the engine. I used a Fel-Pro seal kit and used the Dow Corning 732 sealant. I used side seal that I coated with 732 and used the pins.
Thanks!

Credit where credit is due: Kurt Neighbor taught me that trick about filling the cap vent with oil. He says 50/50 they leak no matter how you put them together, and if they do, you just have to pull the cap back off and start over LOL!

Congrats, and great tip! If I wind up yanking mine again, I'll 100% have to do the same!
