Rod torque- all most blew it

I have a real 600 ft/lb torque wrench in my clothes closet.  It's fer lookin' at, not so much fer usin'.  I doubt very seriously that I could get it to click over at max torque LOL.

In the late 70's to the middle 80's I worked in a tractor trailer repair shop.
Worked on cumming's,cats etc until I got tired of all the heavy work involved with diesel repair even though it paid real good.
I sold all my heavy duty tool's so I would not be tempted to go back to work on them.
I guess I am a wimp.
