I understand why you posted this, badging and advertising, but I believe the math works out to 425 cubic inches....and do you celebrate the 7th (litre or liter) of each month? 🤔

as old as most of us are we should celebrate every day, but thanks for the 427 day , wish I had one.

There are two ways to calculate Ford's "427", neither equal 427.

4.233 x 3.78 = 425.5682
                 &
4.234 x 3.784 = 426.2198

You can take that argument up with Ford.    ;D

Yes, "badging" and "advertising" ...  Works for me.

Plan on getting some work done on mine this year and on the dyno. The numbers it should make would fit in in late June (6)

Today is 4/28. The 428 is more universally recognized as 4.13 x 3.984 and that equals 426.97. So, would it be more appropriate to celebrate the 428 on 4/27?

It's confusing to be a FE guy!
