Yes, Merry Christmas to Heo and all!

Heo, it's been fun following your stories.  I think we've all learned a lot about Sweden that we don't see in the news... How is your son's JagLane coming along?

Bruce,  I dont dare to tell the best stories
Im afraid you think im a liar :D
He working on the Jagline in the weekends
with rubberseals and window cranks and installing
the compressor and stuff for the air ride.
I had to stop helping him with the suspension and concentrating on helping my
father with the Packard as he was diagnosed with cancer.
He died the 13th this month :'( :'(. I got it driveable so i could
film it and show him  as he was to sick to get out of bed.
So this christmas was the worst in my life

Sorry for your loss Heo. It just sux. While in hospice, I was able to tell my dad that my wife was pregnant with our first child. You do what you can in those moments. Nothing more, nothing less.... That boy is a teenager now.

I'm sitting here thinking about my dad. He's been gone some years now. I hope he smiles when he looks down on me here. Heo, I'm sure your dad does the same when he looks down on you.

Yes I'm also very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.  It was a blessing for you to have him all these years and to work on his Packard together.  He must have had a full life.

I was 22 when my Dad passed suddenly but I still think about him every day.  I especially think of him when I get in my '63 Galaxie.  He was a Ford employee and got new company cars every year so he drove 2 different ones when they were new.

A bit late but I would like to extend my wishes for a Merry Christmas and may the new year restore hope that so many have lost during the plan-demic.

Heo: I am sorry for the loss of your father. It seems you both enjoyed many of the same passions.
When my times comes I can only pray it is peaceful with loving family.
God speed to you and your family. May you always reflect in the positive. In my opinion the separation is only temporary...

I had him as a dad for57+years, you see people saying ohh i would like
to do this or that like a father and son project. Most of my life was a father
and son project. One of my earliest memmorys is when i "Helped" my dad
to dissasembel a Model-T engine he found in an anthill. I never forget that
smell of antpiss mixed with old motoroil ;D ;D
Yes you have to focus on the possitiv and he had a full life. Or as my son said
after walking through the village past my dads place. Grandpa built and acompliced
more in his 81 years than anyone have managed in 162 years in this village

Heo sorry for your loss. I can relate with all the good times building race cars and racing on the weekends. I think no matter how old you are when a parent especially a dad dies it’s like loosing a crutch. You can always count on your dad.

Heo, my deepest sympathies on the loss of your father. The loss of a close family member is something we never get over, we simply learn to live with the loss. Obviously, you have many treasured memories of your time with him. Godspeed.
