i realiced it is soon 40 years since :o. 83-84, we was among the first to get them
Mine was brand spanking new. but my M 45B had a worn out barrel, three shot group
about 40 inches in 50 meters. The Leutenant said i needed a lot of training, i said i need
a new barrel. Mighty words from a fresh recruit he sad. But still true i said
If i give you a good barrel, and you shoot a 4 inch group i give you 25 bucks. If NOT.....
you are going to chop a lot of firewood this autmn...questions on that or do we have a deal?

Well as they say if you have asked to dans you better dans....
So deal i said. He picked through a bunch of the other guys guns
untill he found a barrel with no triangles stamped mine had 3
and thats "smoth bore" in army language
so i won 25 bucks on a hair
