WTB- 63 Galaxie console _ Found one.

Looking for a console for my 63 with auto shifter. I had contacted a member here and he had one for $400 but didn't have time to box it up at that time.
Said it was mine and I never heard from him again.
Sent him a e mail and didn't get an answer so am looking for another one.
If I can't find I will use the extra one from my 71.

Don't know where your located, but you can contact Steve the Galaxie guy in Kingman Az. He has a web site at www.64Galaxie.com where it lists contact numbers and other info. I know he has a few consoles around, I traded him one for some other parts I needed.

The guy I use for my '63 is Bud Potter @ budsclassiccars.com.  He took over the business from Greg Donahue and specializes in '63-'64. He has sources for parts that aren't being reproduced and is reasonably priced.

There is a difference between a 62-63 and a 64. The mounting tabs are different due to the sunken floor on a 64. The consoles themselves are the same though. You can always fab something though.

I didn't know that but fabing up some brackets isn't a problem.
