Alan reported yesterday on FB he ran 11.22 @ 121. I don’t know if he made any other passes.

Here’s a link to today’s live feed from RMRW 2.0 at Ennis Tx. I think they just got underway. You should be able to find the live feed on YouTube each day.

Alan just ran an 11.16. I sat down to eat and just happened to catch him. And as Kevin said, he ran an 11.22 yesterday.

I have to put a gripe out here though; as he ran against a much slower new Cadillac running in the 14's, the announcer went on and on about the Cadillac, didn't even mention Alan's name until he was 3/4 down the track (and you couldn't even hear him), and the video guy concentrated on the Cad going down the track. That was enough to make me shut it off in disgust.  >:(

So far the car has been running real good. I had a slow 60ft at Noble (1.82) which hurt my et a little. I talked with a guy who has a '66 Mustang with the  identical suspension as mine and he said his 60 fts were off too. Today I picked up to a 1.64 60ft with a 11.16@122 mph. Man it was hot though. At 6:00 pm it was  99 deg at the track. It was so hot in my car today that my phone kept shutting off with an over temp alarm! But the car never got over 195 deg and most of the time ran between 185-190 and would always shut off and start. We are supposed to have a cool front roll in tomorrow with highs only in the upper 70s. This old man can't handle the heat like he used to! As near as I can tell I am the sole representative for big block Fords of any type...again. I am currently running 4th in the BB/NA class which sounds great  8) but there are only 7 in my class.
So far I just doing one pass per day but I may do extras at Mid America since it is only 30 miles from my house and I will definitely make more passes at Noble on Thursday...providing I am still running.

Glad to hear the car is doing well, Alan. And that it wasn't overheating in those temps, even if you were. It looked pretty stable on launch and at speed.
Good luck on the rest of your trip!
