It's gotten off the rails, and I'll shut up after mentioning this.  Both Scotches are from the same region of Speyside, and are priced about the same.  You can buy a 25 year reserve of either brand if you want to shell out the bucks.  The flavor profiles are different, but both are truly excellent.  I happen to prefer the darker, more caramel side of things.

To each his own!  (I am pretty strict about only working on blue engines though...)

I was being facetious anyway. I enjoy a good scotch. You are correct. I usually pick it up and bring it home in my case.  I had 100 year old when I was there a couple years ago. There were people watering it down  and drinking on ice. Sacrilege!
Anyway, all the best to you and yours!

Wow - 100 year old!  That would be a hell of a treat.  I'm with you on the ice and water thing too.  I enjoy knowledgeable bar staff asking that question with dread...

Best to you and yours too!  LOL I was working hard to not take the bait.  After enough years (of marriage!) you figure out how to pick your battles carefully.

Here's hoping 2021 lets us dig out of this funk.

I will be happy when I start flying more than 70 hours a month. I have grown tired of this COVID crap and crazy millennials throwing fits that require their removal. Almost all women. What happened to women that acted like ladies in public?

Anyway, we shall prevail! Glad you didn't take my friendly banter seriously!
