June 1997 Countryfest And Rockfest Texas Motor Speedway.

I saw The Charlie Daniels Band there. Was anyone else at either June 97 event? Typical stereo types, many at Countryfest were drinking beer. More weed than cigarette smoke at Rockfest, I did neither. Somewhere around that time it was still called Texas International Speedway. I never was a big concert goer but those two events were fun.

Did you stay till Travis Tritt got rained out? He wasn't happy with his manager. They argued about the equipment getting wet. It flooded I-35 and my appartment complex that night.

EDIT: Back then my avatar was in one piece and was an attention getter. It was loud and halfway fast. It somehow drew attention to itself leaving the concert.

All I remember was beating people off of my crane camera when I came in. I had my son with me on that one.
I don’t remember the rain, but I do remember it was very hot and wet and something about Travis.
I did a poop load of concerts in the 90s

Oh yes it’s coming back to me
