Comp Cams upgraded website sucks!

I was looking at getting a better towing cam for my truck so I got on their site and it is horrible compared to what it used to be, You used to be able to look at the cam card and what valve springs it used. And they used to separate cams by lifter type. Now they don't even show a p/n for the valve springs in their kits. No cam card either. Just terrible.

I haven’t looked but that’s a very smart move to not include recommended valve springs.  How can you recommend a valve spring when you don’t know the person’s install height, how heavy their valves are, or their displacement?  Valve springs are not universal. I’ve seen a lot of guys who ended changing springs because they ended up following universal recommendations.

Yet they are more than happy to sell you a cam kit with springs with no mention of what the included springs are no idea of what your application might be..

I guess I need to recant my previous statement. If you dig deep enough they do show the cam card and recommended components. It's just a lot more difficult than it used to be.

I guess a catalog is the only way they can efficiently sell parts, other than a million people dialing their number daily.   However, I just don't agree with it.  The "notes" that are under a camshaft listing have zero meaning.
