What surprised me was the huge dowel pins on the main caps. Seemed a bit overkill and possibly leading to cracks in the main webbing. I think #1 is only like 1/4", but the others are like 3/8"? Seems 1/4" pin would have been more then sufficient for all, as tight as everything fits.
Yes, the caps are interference fit for sure!! I had to use a block spreader to get mine in/out. A real PITA actually, especially when mocking things up. Lots of extra time is spent.
