Machine Shop Recommendation
« on: January 12, 2020, 11:19:14 PM »
My uncle has a beautiful 66 GT Mustang with a 289 and is looking for a machine shop recommendation in/around Las Vegas. Anybody? Thanks, Robert

Kell's Automotive, a machine shop and dyno near Charleston and Mojave, used to be very good.  Even ground cams, although my gut says that machine isn't used much anymore., I left there in 2005 though.

They aren't FE guys, but been there a long time and pretty nice, pretty sharp and a 289 should be easy for them

You can also try HBR Competition (Heads By Rick)  6959 Speedway Blvd # 108 702-644-2220 if you call tell Rick that Randy Gillis suggested you call him. He has a fully equipped machine shop and dyno besides doing head work. I've known Rick for well over 20 years and done lots of stuff with him. He does work for Shelby American when they have money to pay him. LOL
