I have never seen an SKF bearing made anywhere besides Europe and north America.  they are my go to brand, not to say they don't have any 3rd world products but I haven't seen any.

The new BCA throw out I just bought locally says made in china on it.  I'll probably return it.

So... I maybe wrong...It appears its the BCA bearings that can be off shore not SKF...When I purchase bearings (any kind) for myself I buy them from a bearing supplier not a auto parts store. They are the experts.

I just went through my stash and I have a new in the box SKF #N1439...Clearly marked "made in usa" and it is greasable..Two of mine have no numbers and no names..
A quick check showed the SKF one is still available...

If I had access to  SKF bearings readily I'd buy nothing else.   but in this Cowtown you take what you can get unless you have a week to order it.

I have a bunch of Timken's made in mexico too.    that was a disappointment.

My car builder tells me I need a hydraulic throw out bearing to work with the Quicktime bell housing.  Evidently there are clearance issues with the fork and bell housing.  Anything I should be concerned about?
