Anyone try a Trick flow intake yet?
« on: June 21, 2018, 01:41:12 PM »
I see that Summit shows the Trick Flow intakes available to ship. Has anyone run one of these yet? I am working on a 416 that was set to get a ported RPM intake but this motor will be cammed to peak around 6800 and may benefit from a single plane intake. They sure look purdy, but I wonder how they perform. Jim

Didn't even know that was in the works. Wish my Victor had a 2nd temp sensor port like that.

I only see one, the other is for the heater hose, but even without, nice thing is, having the one near the head like a Portosonic, and that big flat area upfront, it's real easy to add a bung in the stock location.  Wish they all had 2, or at least room for a second like the pic

I would want to make sure the TFS intake wasn't completely optimized for their heads.
