Drag Week stats
« on: October 27, 2017, 01:11:59 AM »
Drag Week competitor Mopar Billy and his brothers have been compiling an ongoing list of Drag Week stats going back to the first year. For anyone interested here is a link to the list of every finishing competitor's best 5-day average. This list is only for efforts that finished the whole week. I believe the way it works also is it takes into account each individual race car a competitor used over the years. So someone like Jay, who has finished the week with 4 different cars is listed on here 4 different times, but only the best 5-day average for each car is listed.

5-day average link: https://www.bangshift.com/forum/forum/bangshift/unofficial-hot-rod-drag-week-board/1177303-drag-week-2017-quickest-5-day-averages-all-time

Mopar Billy also compiles a list for competitors that finished the week, but just the best single day pass. Someone might have had a bad day during the week, or coasted later in the week when they didn't need to go all out in their class, this shows more of what they were capable of.

I would have been 3 spots higher on the fastest pass list, but I kept my 12.7 time slip and turned in my 12.8 time slip. If only I had known ;D
