Camless Valvetrain - Decuir Technologies

I spoke with this man several years ago. The plan was to send him a running MEL to build the camless valvetrain for. My projects fell dead shortly after but he is still building.

I'm intrigued, but I don't understand what drives the rockers.  As the comments say, the Italians (Ducati) have been using push-rod-less motors for a while.

Here's what I found on the Ducati system, but Decuir seems different?

Everything has grooves to attach each piece together.  Lifter is attached to cam, pushrod must be attached to lifter and rocker, then rocker is attached to valve.  I can see no need for springs as it pulls the valve closed.

I'm curious as to how you lash it?  I see the chain link portion holding the valve to the rocker tip.  You can't have it totally tight as something has to give as engine expanse and contracts.

The Ducati is an overhead cam design. Seems superior to any OHC I have ever seen. I asked about the lash and valve damper but I cannot remember his response. It is probably on his website. I will take a look latter.
