Which CVR Water Pump Inlet
« on: June 13, 2017, 04:35:37 PM »
Which inlet fittings leaves the connection closest to the factory location and factory diameter? Tired of the Cougar being a problem in summer heat so I'm going to be doing an electric fan and pump.

I assume this is for use with my water pump adapters?  A standard timing cover will have the fuel pump mount in the way of the longer outlets.  If you aren't using the mechanical fuel pump, you can cut off the ear on the timing cover and fabricate  a custom block-off plate.  Or you can use one of my #14002 timing covers, which doesn't have the mechanical fuel pump mount.

If you are using the mechanical fuel pump, the short outlets are the only way to make it work.  More info is in the instructions with the adapters, also here:

Yes, with your adapters. Thanks! I'm going to try the short first and if it sucks I'll get a longer one and manipulate the front cover. Engine is in the car so I don't want to do a ton of monkeying around if I don't have to.

I got the electric fan out of the box last night and I've already got their wiring harness ripped apart. I hate aftermarket kits.
