As I remember, there was also a version that used four side draft carbs and a down draft on top in the front. A '55 or '56 Ford used to show up with such a set-up, on occasion, at Muncie when I worked there.

Royce: that is the new version of the Latham. Richard Paul bought the name and copyrights to resume production.
Notice the difference in the rings. The original version had large rings with a spacer between.
He moved the manufacturing to Southern Calif. from Florida in approx. 1981. The design changes were done to provide a new market for the "Tuner cars"
If you search on Axial Flow engineering you will find his web site.
My registry is only for the 1957-65 version, only about 650 produced. Latham was primarily a marine manufacturer of steering and driveline parts for boats in the Florida coast..

The prior post about the Galaxie ===  Tobacco Road Car. It also had the Turbinique drag axle.
