Motor mount insulators

Hi, does anyone here know of any stiffer insulators for a 390 in a 68 Torino?
I have the anchor 2240-41 now but they seem to be a little soft. Saw that Crites sell some for 70 dollar/pair, is there anyone here with experience from those?

So you have fixed the brake issue now. And had a test drive?
I think you need a chain from the head to the chassie or
a bolt through the insulator. There is a tread here somewhere
how to do the bolt through

Hi Lars!
Brake issue better and a short test drive conducted

Rain and poor weather have stopped me from longer drives though but hopefully it will improve to the weekend.
Will the bolt improve the stiffness or will it just prevent it from splitting?
Thought about a torque strap as well but thought I would check out if there was any polyurethane insulators or such out there first.

I pinned my mounts some time back. thread here:

Worked like a charm, no need for a chain and it's not as harsh as solid motor mounts when ur not leaning on the throttle hard.

If you use chain and leave a little slack (but not too much) in it, you will have both safety and no extra vibration.
